A New Home for My Stories and the First Kuehn Studio Beta

Phew, what a week! First of all, I’m sorry that there was no new chapter on Wednesday. I only realized on Tuesday that I had nothing left in the timeline, and then Wednesday + Thursday I was away on a business trip… whooops 😅

Last week my very first book was released, and wow… I honestly can’t put into words how proud I am. Those of you who have been following me for a while know how incredibly tough the last few years have been for me (and sadly, there’s no real “light at the end of the tunnel” just yet). The fact that I managed to write and publish a book despite all those hurdles has actually given me so much courage and hope.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought the book! Whether you got the ebook or the printed version, I truly hope you’re having a wonderful time reading it :3

A little update on what’s happening…

Since handing in the final manuscript, I’ve actually been taking a little “writing break.” The reason for that is that I’m currently working on a new home for my stories. But why? Honestly, DeviantArt is a great platform. I mean, I got to experience all of this—including the book release—right here! But still, I feel restricted in many areas because the platform just isn’t designed for long-form stories, and especially not for all the “extra” content I have in mind.

And so, the idea was born to simply build a place myself. A place where you can find all stories, news, and so much more in one single spot. “kuehn studio” was born.

My biggest wish is to give you a real home for these stories. That means:

• A proper, clean overview of all stories.

• The ability to read chapter by chapter in the correct order (finally!).

• Finding character information and lore directly under the book.

And because I want to give the dopamine-driven people among you (same as me!) some extra treats, there’s more: There will be achievements, a level system, and reading streaks. All of this will be visible on your public profile.

And don’t worry: You obviously don’t need to use your real name. Nicknames are more than enough! 😊

Sometimes it’s the little things that matter, like bookmarks or your own virtual bookshelf for stories you’ve read or want to read. Even things like customizing the font in the reader can make such a difference in comfort.

All in all, it’s about giving you more features and giving me more creative freedom. As you can imagine, something like this isn’t built overnight 😅 But I’d say I’m pretty close to starting the first Beta. A few features will still be missing and bugs will be everywhere, but I’d rather start “imperfectly” than hesitate while trying to be “perfect” xD

So, that’s what I’m spending my evenings and nights on at the moment. I hope this gives you a little insight into what’s waiting for you in the Submissiverse.
